2. Log Into Microsoft Office 365 (Students)

Special Note

This article is only relevant starting October 11th. Please do not follow this article before then.

Directions

  1. Open your preferred web browser to: https://portal.office.com
  2. Under the ‘Sign in’ field, enter your email login (ex. abc123@mocs.utc.edu)
  3. Under the ‘Enter password’ field, enter your UTC password
  4. Select ‘Sign in’

Troubleshooting

“This username may be incorrect.”

The username format is abc123@mocs.utc.edu where abc123 is your UT NetID. This is usually the same as your UTC ID, but not always. See the “Finding Your NetID” section of this page: https://oit.utk.edu/accounts/netid/

“Your account or password is incorrect.”

You may need to change your UT password. See the “Setting Your NetID Password” section of this page: https://oit.utk.edu/accounts/netid/. Changing your UT password will also change your UTC password, but changing your UTC password will not change your Microsoft Office 365 password.
