You must be a current UTC or UTK student or a faculty/staff member of the UT system in order to get software from the UTK Software Distribution website. Some software will not work unless installed on UT owned computers.

- Open your preferred web browser to: https://webapps.utk.edu/oit/softwaredistribution/
- Under the ‘NetID’ field, enter your UTC ID (ex: abc123)
- Under the ‘Password’ field, enter your UTC password
- Under the 'Downloading Software for' dropdown box, select either 'Home Use' or 'Office Use'
- Select ‘Log In’
- Select the software you would like to download
- Select ‘Download Selected Item’
Troubleshooting
“Invalid NetID and/or Password or your account is not authorized for downloads”
- Open your preferred web browser to https://directory.utk.edu
- Select ‘Login’
- Under the ‘NetID’ field, enter your UTC ID (ex. abc123)
- Under the ‘Password’ field, enter your UTC password
- Select ‘LOGON’
“Password Expired”
- Change your password: Change Your UTC Password
- If you are still unable to log in successfully, please call the Helpdesk at 423-425-4000.
