Tentative events in 25Live can only be edited by the scheduler on file for the event. If you need to make changes and you are not listed as the scheduler, you’ll need to coordinate with the scheduler to update the reservation. This guide walks through how to modify a tentative event, with a focus on searching for new space when previously assigned locations have been removed due to academic class needs.
1. On the event's details page, confirm that the event is in the Tentative state.
2. Ensure you are listed in the "Scheduler" role to make any edits
3. Select "Edit Event"

4. On this page, you can make edits to existing fields that were previously submitted. In this example, we will be updating the Locations for this event. You can quickly jump to that section of the request form by clicking on Locations in the left navigation

5. Spaces that are still assigned to this event are listed here, below the Location Search box. If your event occurs over multiple days, those dates will also be listed with those locations
6. Fill out any search criteria that may be applicable for your event and click Search

7. Available spaces will then be displayed, take note of the "Availability" column as this will tell you how many days this room is available based on your event's meeting pattern
Note: You can mix and match rooms if one room does not work for every day of your meeting pattern
8. You may select the room name to see additional details about the room
9. If the room meets your needs, click Reserve
10. Scroll down to the bottom of your edit event form and select Save
