Open ‘Settings’

Select ‘Wi-Fi’

Select the 'UTC’ network

Turn off 'Device MAC Randomization', Click Here for assistance

Open your preferred web browser to: https://portal.utc.edu/registration/

Select 'Yes' if you are a UTC student, faculty, staff, or affiliate

Select 'Computer/Phone'

Under the ‘MAC Address’ field, enter the device's MAC address (ex. AA:11:A1:FF:99:F9)

Under the ‘UTC ID’ field, enter your UTC ID

Under the ‘Password’ field, enter your UTC password

Select ‘Register'
Troubleshooting
“I do not know my MAC address”
- Open ‘Settings’
- Select 'About Phone'
- Select 'Status'
- Locate 'Wi-Fi MAC address'
“I am unable to access the UTC portal page”
- Open ‘Settings’
- Select ‘Cellular Data’
- ‘Cellular Data’ might be named ‘Data Usage’ or ‘Mobile Data’
- Turn Cellular Data off
- Attempt the directions again
“It says my MAC address is not valid”
- Open ‘Settings’
- Select 'Network'
- 'Network' might be named 'Connections'
- Select the gear icon for the UTC network
- Switch the 'MAC address type' from 'Randomized MAC' to 'Phone MAC'
- Reload the web page and try again
