Open ‘Settings’

Select ‘Wi-Fi’

Connect to the ‘UTC’ network

Turn off 'Private Wifi Address' and 'Limit IP Address Tracking'. Click Here for assistance

Open Safari to: https://portal.utc.edu/registration/

Select 'Students, faculty, staff, or affiliates with a UTC ID'

Sign in with your UTC ID and Password

Select 'Computer/Phone/Tablet'

Under the ‘MAC Address’ field, enter the device's MAC address (ex. AA:11:A1:FF:99:F9

Select 'Submit'
Troubleshooting
“I do not know my MAC address”
- Open ‘Settings’
- Select 'General'
- Select 'About'
- Locate ‘Wi-Fi MAC Address’
“I am unable to access the UTC portal page”
- Open ‘Settings’
- Select ‘Cellular’
- Turn ‘Cellular Data’ off
- Attempt the directions again
“I am unable to access the network after updating iOS”
- Open ‘Settings’
- Select 'Wifi'
- Select the blue 'i' next to the UTC or UTC-Secure network
- Turn 'Use Private Address' off
- Rejoin the network
“I am being prompted to install the FortiNAC agent”
- Open ‘Settings’
- Select ‘Safari’
- Turn ‘Request Desktop Site’ off
- Refresh the webpage and attempt the directions again
