Captures information about the faculty member's involvement in supervising and guiding students through various learning projects and research activities, including honors projects, independent studies, theses, and dissertations.

Non-Credit Instruction Taught (e.g., executive education, corporate seminars, continuing education)

Records details of non-credit courses and instructional sessions conducted by the faculty member, such as executive education programs, corporate seminars, and continuing education workshops.

Teaching Schedule

Provides an overview of the faculty member's teaching timetable, listing the courses they are scheduled to teach, including capacity, and any pertinent details about the class sessions. The teaching schedule is loaded after the 15th day of classes and is updated once again at the end of the term.

Though data is pre-loaded, there are several items you can add to enhance your courses entry. These include but are not limited to:

  • Information about the course preparation,
  • Pedagogical innovations you may have introduced
  • Teaching materials you developed
  • A place to attach artifacts (this may include peer evaluations or other material that you wish to document with this course).

Teaching Innovation

Documents innovative teaching methods and practices introduced by the faculty member, including new pedagogical approaches, use of technology in the classroom, and other creative instructional strategies.

Teaching at Other Institutions

Records any teaching activities the faculty member has undertaken at other educational institutions, detailing the courses taught, the institutions involved, and the time periods. This screen is strictly leveraged for one's own Vita and is not included in any institutional reports

Yearly Advising Summary

Summarizes the faculty member's advising activities over the year, including the number of students advised, the nature of the advising sessions, and any significant outcomes or achievements.

Teaching Qualifications

Captures the faculty member's qualifications related to teaching, including certifications, training programs, degrees, and other credentials that demonstrate their expertise and preparedness as an educator. This screen is maintained by your Digital Measures administrator and is leveraged for accreditation reporting.

Philosophy of Teaching

Provides a place to include a narrative description of the faculty member's personal philosophy of teaching, outlining their beliefs, values, and approaches to education and student engagement.

Teaching Interest(s)

Lists the subjects and areas within the faculty member's field of expertise that they are particularly interested in teaching, highlighting their preferred courses and topics. Data entered into this screen goes directly into your faculty web profile.

Mentorship

Records the faculty member's mentorship activities, including the details of mentoring relationships with students or junior faculty, the nature of the guidance provided, and any significant outcomes or developments. The activity reporting area option on this screen allows faculty to select which reporting section of the yearly evaluation (EDO) a specific data entry item should be included in.
