Recruitment and Hiring (Faculty)

Description  

All academic departments will follow recruitment and hiring procedures for conducting the search for and the hiring of new faculty.  

Process     

The dean, department head, or other designee must obtain approval from the Provost to begin a search through the Faculty Recruitment Workflow.  

Once the Faculty Recruitment Workflow is approved, the academic department’s business manager submits the requisition request in IRIS (ZPPOSITION000). Once the requisition is fully approved in IRIS, it will load into Taleo for posting.  

For assistance with drafting the job ad, please contact Charlene Ragland in OEI. Once the position and job ad are fully approved, the position will be posted to the UTC Jobsite.
