DASH Go-Live - Day 1 Checklist

A day 1 checklist with important action items and instructions to follow when DASH becomes available on January 6, 2025.

ACTION REQUESTED: ACCESS DASH!

DASH (Dynamic Administrative Systems for Higher Ed), a new cloud-based enterprise resources planning (ERP) system, is now LIVE! This new system, along with other related platforms and systems, has replaced IRIS to include finance, human resources, and payroll functionality, with a limited deployment of facilities maintenance at UTK and UTHSC. This checklist provides key information and resources to support your transition to DASH.


 


Login Information

Ready to login to DASH? Log into the DASH Landing Page to get started and use this job aid for assistance!

You should also be sure to:

  • Complete the Welcome to DASH Guide: When you first login to DASH, an Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) "Welcome to DASH Guide" will automatically launch to support you through system navigation. Afterwards, the 'OGL widget icon' shown to the left will support your daily processes in DASH, We are continuing to add more content to OGL on a rolling basis.
  • Complete early sign-on actions when you first login to DASH, such as:
    • Review your personal information; check the Employee Self-Service section of the OGL widget for support
    • Identify or update your emergency contact information, home address, etc. as needed
    • Check your notifications for any immediate actions using the bell icon on the upper right-hand corner
    • If needed, use this job aid to create an approval delegate in DASH

TeamDynamix Service Request

If the resources linked above do not help you resolve your issues, you can submit a TeamDynamix (TDX) service request ticket:

  • IT Help Desks: There are links available to submit a service request for each campus/institute on the DASH Support page. Local IT Help Desks will service as Tier 1 support for ticket resolution.

Now that DASH is live, please be sure to review and utilize the following resources on the Friends of DASH website and Knowledge Base:

  • Leverage the Preparing for Go-Live and Getting Started sections of the UT DASH Knowledge Base for helpful articles to help you navigate through DASH. Access the UTC DASH Knowledge Base for additional information. You can also search for 'DASH' in the Knowledge Base for additional, process-specific information!
  • Access the Hub Central for an overview of each DASH process area. You should leverage the Employee and Manager Self-Service Hub to understand your critical actions in DASH. There are also hubs available for ERP, HCM, and OMC!
  • Visit the Training Hub to review training information, including the DASH training approach and an overview of training modalities such as OGL.
  • Review important system, and project terminology on the DASH Lingo page to acclimate to the new system!
