Connect Your Android Device to the UTC-Secure Network

Please be sure to connect your device to the UTC wireless network and register it before trying to connect to UTC Secure.

Directions

  1. Open ‘Settings’
     
  2. Select ‘Wi-Fi’
     
  3. Connect to the ‘UTC’ network
     
  4. Open your preferred web browser to: http://netaccess.utc.edu/secure-wireless/
     
  5. Accept the EULA and download the XpressConnect app
     
  6. Open your preferred web browser again
     
  7. Select “Setup Wi-Fi”
     
  8. Under the ‘UTC ID’ field, enter your UTC ID
     
  9. Under the ‘Password’ field, enter your UTC password
     
  10. Select ‘Submit’
  • If the phone is Android version 4.0 or newer, you may need to enable a lock screen before your device will be allowed on the UTC-Secure network
  1. If prompted, select ‘Okay’ to save the account credentials.
     
  2. The phone should then automatically switch over to the UTC-Secure network. If it does not, you may need to connect to the network manually.
