Open your preferred web browser to: https://portal.utc.edu/registration/

Select 'Students, faculty, staff, or affiliates with a UTC ID'

Sign in with your UTC ID and Password

Select 'Media Player'

In the Device Type drop down field put 'Amazon Echo/Tap'

In the ‘MAC Address’ field, enter the device's MAC address (ex. AA:11:A1:FF:99:F9)

In the "Phone" field, enter a phone number

Select ‘Submit'
Find Your Echo's MAC Address:
Note: If you are setting up your Echo for the first time, the MAC address can be found on the screen where you are asked to connect to a Wifi Network during Setup.
To find the MAC address of an Amazon Alexa, you can use the Alexa app on your smartphone or tablet. Follow these steps:

Open the Alexa App:
- Launch the Amazon Alexa app on your smartphone or tablet. (If you don’t have it, download it from your phones app store.)

Go to Devices:
- Tap on the “Devices” icon at the bottom-right corner of the app.

Select Your Device:
- Under “Echo & Alexa” select the Echo device you want to find the MAC address for.

Go to Device Settings:
- Tap on the device name to open its settings.

Locate the MAC Address:
- Scroll down to 'About' or 'Device Information'.
- The MAC address will be listed there under 'MAC Address'.
