
Bookings is an online scheduling and appointment tool designed to simplify meeting and reservation management. It integrates with your Microsoft 365 calendar, allowing users to quickly find available times and avoid double-booking.
Bookings can be used to schedule office hours, requested meetings, and team-based appointments. It integrates with Microsoft Teams, allowing meetings to be held virtually. When an appointment is scheduled as an online meeting, a unique meeting link is automatically sent to attendees so they can join via a web browser, phone dial-in, or the Teams app.
Bookings allows you to create a customizable booking page with defined services, staff, and availability. Once published, the booking link can be shared via email or other communication channels, enabling users to select a service and available time. Confirmation emails and reminders are automatically sent to help manage appointments efficiently.
Set up Microsoft Bookings
- Sign into your Microsoft 365 account with your NetID and Password.
- Select and open the Microsoft Bookings app from the Microsoft 365 app launcher.
- Select the "Get started" button to begin the setup process.
- Follow the setup wizard to customize your booking page. You'll need to choose a Name, location, and services you offer. You can also upload your business logo and add staff members.
- Set up your availability by creating a schedule specifying working hours and blocking off any times that are not available for appointments.
- Configure your notifications and reminders settings.
- Once you have completed the setup wizard, you can share the link to your booking page.
