Download from the UTK Software Distribution Website

Special Note

You must be a current UTC or UTK student or a faculty/staff member of the UT system in order to get software from the UTK Software Distribution website. Some software will not work unless installed on UT owned computers.

Directions

1. Open your preferred web browser to: https://webapps.utk.edu/oit/softwaredistribution/
    
2. Under the ‘NetID’ field, enter your UTC ID (ex: abc123)
    
3. Under the ‘Password’ field, enter your UTC password
    
4. Under the 'Downloading Software for' dropdown box, select either 'Home Use' or 'Office Use'
    
5. Select ‘Log In’
    
6. Select the software you would like to download
    
7. Select ‘Download Selected Item’

Troubleshooting

“Invalid NetID and/or Password or your account is not authorized for downloads”

1. Open your preferred web browser to: https://directory.utk.edu
    
2. Select ‘Login’
    
3. Under the ‘NetID’ field, enter your UTC ID (ex. abc123)
    
4. Under the ‘Password’ field, enter your UTC password
    
5. Select ‘LOGON’

• If you receive a message stating “Password Expired”, change your password: Change Your UTC Password
• If you are still unable to log in successfully, please call the Client Services Center at 423-425-4000
