Use the Duo Mobile App to Generate a Passcode

Before you begin

• You will need to know your NetID. If you are unable to sign in, check to see if your NetID is the same as your UTC ID:
  1. Visit https://directory.utk.edu/
  2. Type your full name and hit enter
  3. Verify your NetID
• You will need a device capable of browsing the Internet (tablet or computer) to enroll your phone
• If you do not have a mobile device capable of installing Duo, you can request a hardware token here: https://utc.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/2717/Portal/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=49798
• Check to see if your phone is supported by duo here:

  • iOS

Directions

1. Log in to your desired service with your username and password
2. When you see the Duo login screen, select 'Enter a Passcode'
3. Open the Duo Mobile app and tap 'University of Tennesee'
4. Enter the passcode into the Duo login screen
