Directions for Employees

  1. Open your preferred web browser to https://portal.office.com
  2. Under the ‘Sign in’ field, enter your Microsoft Office login (ex. abc123@utc.edu)
  3. Under the ‘Enter password’ field, enter your UTC password
  4. Select ‘Sign in’

Directions for Students

  1. Open your preferred web browser to https://portal.office.com
  2. Under the ‘Sign in’ field, enter your Microsoft Office login (ex. abc123@mocs.utc.edu)
  3. Under the ‘Enter password’ field, enter your UTC password
  4. Select ‘Sign in’

 

Troubleshooting

“This username may be incorrect.”

The username format is typically abc123@mocs.utc.edu (students) or abc123@utc.edu (employees) where abc123 is your UT NetID.
This is usually the same as your UTC ID, but not always. Your NetID can be found by searching your name in the UT Directory or by contacting the IT Helpdesk at 423-425-4000.

“Your account or password is incorrect.”

You may need to change your password. Please go to https://utc.edu/pw and use the change password link to update your University of Tennessee password.
