This article will walk you through registering and verifying an external UT Vault account. For assistance with using the UT Vault, please see: Sending Files with the UT Vault.
Directions
To begin, visit vault.tennessee.edu.

Locate and Select the 'Register for Access' button.

Enter your Name, Email Address, and choose a Password, then check the I agree box and select 'Register'

You will now receive an email to the address provided. After following the 'Read the Message' link, you will be asked to 'Sign in with Google' or 'Sign in with a One-time passcode.' If the address you provided was a Google email address, you may choose to 'Sign in with Google' after which you will be shown the message, otherwise, please choose 'Sign in with a One-time passcode.'

If using a One-time passcode, you will be prompted to enter the code sent yo your email. After doing so, please select 'Continue' and you will be shown the message.

Following this link, you should see an "Account successfully registered" message above the UTVault sign-in page.

Now, please sign into your account using the Email Address and Password provided earlier, complete the captcha below, and Select 'LOGIN'

You will now be prompted to Setup Multifactor Authentication. You can do this using Duo Mobile, Microsoft Authenticator, or another authenticator app capable of scanning a QR code. Please scan the QR code with your app of choice and complete the setup, then in the Verify box, enter the code provided in your app. After this, please select 'OK' and you will be logged into the UTVault.
