How to Check your Windows Operating System Version

System Properties

Select Start > Settings > System, then select About Your PC. You then see Edition, Version, and OS Build information.

You can also type "About Your PC" in the Search on the task bar.

Using Keyword Search

You can type the following in the search on the task bar and press ENTER to see version details for your device.
