Lab Software Request (annual maintenance)

This service request is for the installation of software in computer labs and classrooms and only can be requested by Faculty and Staff. Prior purchase approval for new software is required before proceeding with this request.

Service Description 

If you require a specific software application that is not currently installed in one of the campus labs, you can request it here. IT will assess the software to determine if it meets our security requirements and if IT can support the software. Software can only be installed in labs during maintenance period which is the Summer before the Fall semester. The software will remain on the computers for Fall and Spring and requests to add or remove items will be addressed again the following Summer.

Fall semester requests for to add or remove software or version updates are due by June 1st.

Spring semester requests for NEW software are due by October 15th. Version updates and software removals are only applied during the summer. New software requests for Spring should only occur due to last minute changes in course offerings or instructors.

Use this form to request software for classroom computer lab installation only. 

Once the software has been installed, plan to test that it works at least 2 weeks before the first day of class.
