Service Description
Desktop Support provides comprehensive assistance with hardware needs for faculty and staff using UTC-issued devices. Services include hardware diagnostics and repair, data consultation, virus scan and cleaning, new hardware consultation, and more. This service is also available for any other hardware-related concerns or requests.
Before Proceeding
Please complete:
- Ensure your device is accessible and backed up if possible.
You will be asked to provide the following information:
- Building and Room location
- A good contact number
- Type of device (Windows or macOS)
- Service tag (Windows) or Serial number (Mac)
Note: The service tag/serial number is not the UTC inventory sticker.
