This article requires you to have access to a departmental shared mailbox. If you do not have the appropriate access, please have your supervisor submit an IT request.
Directions for the Outlook Web Application
- Log into Microsoft Office 365 (find instructions here).
- In the top-left corner of your browser, click the waffle icon to open the App launcher.
- Select Outlook.
- In the top-right corner of your browser, click your profile picture of initials.
- Select Open another mailbox.
- Under the Open another mailbox field, enter the shared mailbox account.
- Select Open.
If you do not know the shared mailbox account, ask your supervisor or contact IT at (423) 425-4000.
Directions for the Outlook Desktop Application
- Open the Outlook desktop application.
- In the bottom-left corner of the desktop application, look for your shared mailbox accounts.
- CLICK on the arrow to the left to expand and check for mail.
