Review Storage and Delete Unnecessary Files

To confirm how much storage you’re using, go to https://drive.google.com/settings/storage.

To review and delete large or unnecessary files in Drive, go to https://drive.google.com/drive/quota.

To review and delete large or unnecessary files in shared drives, go to https://drive.google.com/drive/shared-drives.

To search for and delete unnecessary or large emails, go to Manage files in your Google Drive storage and follow instructions for Gmail.
Export Data to Another Account
Current students and employees have the option of moving files to their UTC Microsoft O365 account which allows for 5TBs of storage in OneDrive while they remain enrolled or employed at UTC. Please see https://utc.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/2717/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=148173 for more information on when your account will expire after leaving UTC.

Option 1 for moving your data is to use the Google Takeout tool. Instructions are available at https://utc.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/2717/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=154285.

Option 2 for moving your data is to manually download files from GDrive and upload them to another account or store them on your computer.
Once you have moved your files, we request you delete them from your Google account to free up space.
